5th September Race Report

With a near perfect day for racing we were treated to some of the best and closest racing we have seen in a long time, especially in the finals.

First up Craig Underwood and Alan Looi trading places for most of the A buggy final and finishing with a record breaking time for 35 Laps, then again in the B final with Craig Rooks and Mike Mcdade finishing with only a 1 second lead at the chequered flag. Ross Moselen also snatched his best ever lap, making the most of grip.

The Truggy final was not so close but we did see a record breaking drive from Alan Looi threatening 36 Laps as he was being pushed along by Bowlesy and Reece.

Noticeable improvements on the day were Glen Maia and Craig Rooks.

On the other side of the coin were Mitchell Collins Dave Moselen and myself as we all suffered radio problems.

There was a lot of other good racing all around but this is only a short report.

On the down side the car park area was a bog for most the part but that didn't dampen any bodies' sprits.

Hope you all enjoyed your father's day racing
