Upcoming World Championships

New Zealand has two confirmed allocations for each event. More may become available but we need to ensure we know how many are wishing to apply in order for us to make the applications for more allocations. Drivers wishing to attend any of the below events need to express their interest to the NZRCA. A deposit of one hundred dollars is needed to ensure drivers intent on attending, this will be refunded if a driver is not selected. The one hundred dollars will go towards entry fees for the event. Drivers will need to fill the application form below.

Application to Represent NZ at FEMCA and IFMAR World Events

The events are as follows:

Electric On-Road (12th Scale & 10th ISTC) 27th June - 4th July 2010
Location: Burgdorf, Germany

IC On-Road (10th) 22nd July - 1st August 2010
Location: Porter, Texas USA

IC Off-Road (8th) 7th November - 14 November 2010
Location: Pattaya, Thailand

TQ and WIN for Dani Choi in Taiwan

Alpha-Plus factory driver, Dani Choi, won TQ and first place of Yilan County Cup National Buggy Championship in Taiwan on September 20th. Even though it rained during Saturday morning and shortened the time he could practice racing on this unfamiliar track, he still got TQ. Dani successfully won the final on Sunday by 3 laps more than the 2nd place.

There was a great show of talent from Auckland club members claiming a 1, 2, 3 in buggy, Chris, Jerry and Craig all driving a great race.
